Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 17, 2026
prismCal is built by LaClair Technologies. Calendar data reveals who you meet, where you are, and when. We keep it on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. prismCal does not include analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, crash reporters, or any third-party tracking.
How we access your calendar
- Apple EventKit — prismCal reads and writes events through Apple's on-device calendar framework, with your explicit permission.
- Your provider accounts — any iCloud / Google / Microsoft calendars you've connected to iOS/macOS are read through the operating system. prismCal is not in the data path between you and those providers.
Where your planning data lives
- On your device — focus blocks, follow-up decisions, and suite references are stored locally, encrypted at rest by iOS/macOS.
- In your iCloud — if iCloud sync is enabled, Apple replicates across your own devices. LaClair Technologies never sees your calendar.
Suite integration
If you also use other Prism apps, prismCal shares lightweight references — like “this event has a prep note” — via an on-device app group and your iCloud container. Event bodies stay with the calendar provider.
What we do not do
- No analytics. No telemetry. No “anonymous” usage reports.
- No advertising. No data sales. No data brokers.
- No cloud processing of your calendar — no AI summarization, no travel-pattern inference, no location exfiltration.
Children's privacy
prismCal is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the “Last updated” date and post a note on the product website before the change takes effect.
